Newcastle Airport launched its seasonal route to Auckland on the eve of the Newcastle 500 Supercar event.
On the back of last year’s successful season, the routes deliver international connectivity to this region and also the significant economic benefit to the Hunter, Central Coast and Northern NSW.

One of the things that Newcastle airport is determined to increase is awareness and appreciation of our region by interstate and international visitors. With this in mind, the Airport recently invested in and launched a significant inbound campaign in New Zealand in the lead up to the new season.
It’s aim is to increase awareness of Newcastle Airport as a gateway to the broader Hunter Region and beyond to the Mid North Coast and Central Coast.
The campaign is digital in nature and aimed squarely at those people in Auckland with a high propensity to travel to our region. It will run up until Christmas.
